Delicious food. We decided to go here because we had time to spare before going to some farms and we had heard it was good. We were able to get parked nearby and had to get on the waitlist, which was 60-75 minutes. We had the time so it wasn’t an issue. Once we were called we were seated outside but with great weather, it made for a great experience. The staff was friendly, and the food great. My wife and I started off with spicy passion fruit mockeritas. For my meal, I went with the lemon blueberry waffle, which was so good. My wife ordered the fig & pig tartine, and son the green poutine. Everything was delicious and started our day off with a smile. I would recommend going when they open to avoid the wait, but definitely go. It’s worth the wait, if needed.

Magpie Diner was terrific! The restaurant is very clean with plenty of seating inside and outside. The food was tasty and the service was top notch. I highly recommend the chorizo bowl and the Egg Sammie sandwich. We also ordered the espresso old fashioned and it was dynamite . Magpie is definitely a place we plan to visit again when visiting Harrisonburg.

We waited 30 minutes for a table, arrived at 9:15 AM, and the line was out the door. After that, we waited one hour for our food. The food was hot, and cooked very well. Server was very nice. We sat at the bar. Plan to be at this place for 1.5 hours . The cappuccino and mimosa was also very good . If I had time in the morning, I would come back and eat here again.

This is the cutest place! The service was fantastic, and the food is delicious. The wait wasn't as long as I expected. If you have a longer wait, get a drink at SageBird Cider as you wait. You have 5 minutes to show up after you receive the text stating that your table is ready. However, you can watch the queue on your phone so you know how many parties are ahead of you. Make sure to take some bakery items to go. Get there early before they're sold out.

Food was absolutely delicious! Prices were slightly expensive but great for a special treat. Service was friendly & quick! Only downside was the wait time very small seating area and incredibly busy! Definitely arrive early and be prepared to wait . Party of 3 waited 70 minutes at 11A.M in total. Definitely worth the wait!

A very cool find on a quick business trip to Harrisonburg. The chorizo bowl was simply perfect. Definitely add the extra egg. The biscuits were amazing as was the service. The coffee was equally outstanding. And yes, I hit the bakery in the way out. I can’t wait to come back to this great breakfast stop. A 10 stop.

Shout out to our server Natali whose top notch attention to details and warm, sparkling personality made us feel welcome and added to our enjoyment. I highly recommend the extra effort to find this little gem of a place for breakfast. The atmosphere is bright and clean. Simple fresh ingredients were elevated to deliciousness. Bold, rich coffee; light, creamy scrambled eggs with a sprinkle of fresh chives; thick crispy bacon; a huge fluffy pancake; and Bumbleberry French toast piled high with berries. It hit the spot. We'll be back next time we're in town.

Delish! The atmosphere is welcoming and so are the staff. The waffles are always delicious and I love the key lime waffle they had in the fall! Matcha lattes are amazing and I like the rotation of flavors. Generally busy so expect around a 30 minute wait. Overall so cute I would definitely recommend!
